What happened to local farmersβ markets? I genuinely want to support local farms and small businesses, but the prices have become impossible to justify. At a Delray farm, mangoes were $8 per pound. Three mangoes weighing 3.25 pounds cost $27. Meanwhile, Walmart across the street sells mangoes from Mexico for just 97 cents eachβabout $3 for three. I understand that locally grown produce can cost more because of labor, land, and smaller-scale production, but paying nine times more is simply not affordable. I want to support local businesses, but I donβt want to go broke doing it. What am I missing?

A real Delray gem - buy fresh papayas and mangoes direct from the growers. A fun place for kids to visit too .

Mango was pretty good but extremely over pricedβ¦ I could have gotten the same mango at Whole Foods. We got two small fruits and it came to $21. Honestly a scam. The fact that some people drive hours for this is ridiculous. Wonβt be returning. I recommend you donβt waste your money here.

Went here to get some mangoes. They have a few varieties. The price is a bit on the higher end. It would be nicer if people got to tour the garden. They sell mango trees and star fruit, longan fruit. They also had a couple jackfruits for sale.
